Bulk Sales Account Manager Canada Dry Potomac

As a merchandiser I was responsible for traveling to miscellaneous accounts and stocking shelves, as well as, consolidating all merchandise in said account. Just after the 5 months mark, I was promoted to Account Manager and given a salary with commission. Through 7 day works weeks I quickly developed relationships with each account. This position was highly individual and independently performed on a daily basis.

May 2004 – December 2007

Foreman Century Concrete Inc

Worked as a laborer until I was spotted by another superintendent. This new opportunity came with an immediate increase in pay. As a laborer my ability to learn was restricted. My promotion placed me in a bigger picture position as a carpenter. Several months later I would be making twice as much and be considered a trusted asset.

My first serving position was certainly a learning experience. I quickly became the leader in sales and a reliable asset in overall judgment and execution.

Upon my name frequently being mentioned in restaurant reviews, I was awarded key shifts and sections on the sales floor during high volume business. This was a position where sales were independently conducted. However, the sales floor was very much a team effort. Given the high rate of turnover my 3 years in this demanding restaurant established me as a leader amongst my coworkers.

April 2013 – October 2013

Bartender 11th Street Taphouse

I was responsible for safe drops and large amounts of money. I worked independently, individually catering to high volumes of people. As well as, maintaining a neat and professional bar with which I kept full of guests to whom I personally marketed the establishment.

W.F. McGann Corp

As a form carpenter for this marine concrete company, I was responsible for performing very technical carpentry and concrete pours with special awareness for environmental concerns in our waterways.

February 2019 – May 2021

Proper Contracting LLC

My role as manager of production was perhaps my greatest learning experience yet. The sheer number of people involved with each job multiplied by the amount jobs running allowed me to delve deeply into constructing not only projects, but also an efficient team of project managers and assets for both labor and material. This experience gives me a huge advantage walking into a client’s home eager to close on the upgrade that best fits their vision.
