2.Position: Operations Manager (Fulltime)
Company: Wacco Tech Ltd, Port Harcourt, Nigeria
Date: Jan 2000 – August 2014
Reasons for leaving:
No ore to work with due to insecurity in the country especially at the quarries
Harsh economic/political policies that shut Wacco Tech.
Responsibilities:
Assembly of machines, mills, crushers and electromechanical parts.
Installation of all production equipment including plant integrity
Production operation planning (production and maintenance) and execution
Acquisition of new asset for optimization
Co-ordinating Barites, limestone and Bentonite quarries
budgeting, directing and supervision of all operations
Personnel training and mentoring.
Flowlines and pipelines laying. Several lengths (40’ -15 miles) and diameter sizes (4”- 24”).
Installations of several flare auto ignition systems, flare repairs and rebuilding, including bund wall and saver pits construction.
Major Achievement:
Installed a complete grinding journal mill and its accessories and ran the plant producing limestone, gypsum, barites, bentonite and kaolin
Employed all its staff, trained (including safety training) and mentored them. Made the 850MT/month capacity plant to turn out 1000MT/month within same hours of operation within two years.
Increased food production because I made the Shift target to be minimum shift output which increased overall production output.

Responsibilities

Major Achievement:
Participated in the dismantling of Warri plant and installed it in Port Harcourt to double Port Harcourt plant hourly production with an additional three staff, instead of two different plants with a high operation cost.
