As you arrive to your work area, first we secured our work vehicle with proper safety equipment, provided by the company for my safety as well as safety for other vehicles or pedestrian in and around the workplace. Hazard lights, Beacon lights, 3ft orange cones, to secure my vehicle for traffic around the work area. Hook up my transmitter to the Tracer wire if one is find at the gas meter or riser, preform the standard 20ft distance between gas meter and existing utilities in work area, equipt with my receiver i preform my 360' sweep of the gas service,as I proceed to locate the gas service to the gas main, to follow the gas main and services to preent any damages from sub contractors ( digging,replacing, or installing, repairing, est,) and to protect the underground gas utilities and the people in the communities around the city,workplace. Marked the utilities with yellow paint, flags, offset, measurements etc., to inform the contractors location of the underground utilities back of the curb, or along the right of way, curb,curbside, cul-de-sac, to prevent any damage
