It is not an exaggeration to say that my whole life – both personal and professional -- has been in pursuit of building connections: between people, between groups, between cultures, and ultimately between mind and heart. Since my professional career has been unconventional, it’s not easy for me to lead with a job title. My path was inspired not just by my desire to be a bridge-builder, but by my commitment to the values I deeply believe in: community, connection and empowerment. While my professional hats have varied, the underlying motivation has always been to be a connector and bridge-builder. I used to think that it was what I did that would make a difference. And now I realize it is the qualities and the values that I bring to what I do that make the difference.

Group Facilitation/Coaching (2015 – Present)

●Coach for Highly Sensitive women & empaths - Conduct both individual and 12-week group programs, supporting women in shifting toward living their sensitivity as a transformative support to their life’s work.

●Biodecoding Coach – assist those wishing to overcome symptoms and disease through Biodecoding, a method that allows us to find the emotional origin of symptoms, to understand their meaning and free ourselves from diseases.

●Elephant Journal Writing Academy Mentor – Mentored small group in Winter Writing Academy 2020

●Heart Intelligence Coach – Local and On-line International: Coach clients using Heart IQ skills to help them move beyond obstacles in their personal and professional lives. Conducted Heart IQ Foundation program, Plymouth, England: Offered six-week group training in practice of Heart Intelligence. (Heart IQ is a practice that increases emotional competency, enhances relationship skills and facilitates authentic connection to self and others.)

●Heart Circle Facilitator – Oakland, CA: Facilitated monthly Heart Circle and taught foundation of Heart Intelligence as they relate to achieving the highest and best in one’s career and life.

●WomanSpeak Circle Leader - Davis, CA: Led bi-weekly trainings where women learn public speaking & feminine leadership skills.

Program Coordination & Outreach (2000-present)

●Hissyfits Boutique, Rosemary Beach – (Jan – Oct. 2022) Assistant manager and then Acting manager: oversaw overall store operations, including store presentation, scheduling, recruiting of employees, and ensured good performance and well-being of retail associates.

●Biodecoding Institute (July 2020 – May 2022) Support & Outreach coordinator: Assisted in administrative duties, furthering outreach and marketing efforts, and supporting online students of the Institute.

●Julia Glyde Studios, Lafayette, CA: Helped conceive and launch a year-long mentorship program for entrepreneurial women aspiring to launch a business; researched and wrote outreach and promotional marketing content; updated website, managed FB groups, initiated strategies to promote community building.

●Vedic Heart, Alaska: Supported owner in producing handbook for Business in a Box concept; encouraged community participation through FB posts; wrote and edited promotional content and served as a liaison between the owner and clients.

●Intercultural Communication and Leadership School, Rome, Italy: Cultivated intercultural leadership and communication among minority youth in Europe. Instrumental in cultivating civic and public alliances designed to promote training for multi-ethnic youth. Coordinated a contest to promote leadership among minority youth in Europe.

●Antares 2000, Castel Madama, Italy: Assisted in executing EU projects aimed at integration of immigrants & marginalized youth. Supervised an EU project to expand access and understanding of new Information, Communication, and Technology skills. Trained youth peer educators to combat hate-crime in Europe; helped organize an international conference; conducted research on integration; and wrote grant proposals and reports.
