I have been practicing as a nurse practitioner in Cardiology and Infectious Disease specializing in Heart Failure. I have been managing a Heart Failure Clinic, Anticoagulation Clinic, and also started 2 Device Clinics which included a device home remote monitoring clinic for our patients and a device support group. I also manage patients with various arrhythmias that we treat by ablations or medicines. I also manage vascular problems especially varicose veins with VNUS Ablations. I have been a supervisor for both acute care and long term care facilities working with policies and procedures for JACHO and HICFA. I have experienced a variety of nursing specialties and assisted physicians in their special procedures for their specific practices. I have several years of experience in critical care and burns specifically in heart failure, strokes and pulmonary care. I have great interests in cardiology, infectious disease, neurology, sports medicine and burn care in both children and adults. 7
