My cousin wrangled me in as a “co-owner” of his bee and chicken raising business. I answered phones and booked customer appointments for his son to go collect Africanized Honey bees away from or out of people’s homes or businesses. I did makeover the website, from the ground up, and he wanted to be #1 on all the search engines in the valley, so I figured out all the backend SEO and made that happen, along with hashtagging every social media post and doing a lot of marketing for him. I also paid bills, ordered supplies and in the down season, I had his son installing Christmas lights for people. After I left, it all went downhill, and his son found out he is anaphylacticly allergic to bees, so I’m not sure what happened after that, except that I’m not there and his son quit and he drives a garbage truck so, as far as I know the company is no more.

My husband and I have began taking in Airbnb guests to supplement our income. This involves knowledge of the Airbnb website and app. It involves staging and photographing certain areas of the home that are rented to guests. It involves some bookkeeping, but this is not my strength. I pay the bills, I am not an accountant. It involves being patient and pleasant with guests, anticipating their needs before they arrive, keeping things clean and sanitary, and maintaining Airbnb’s COVID-19 protocols for cleaning and sanitation. Also marketing my listing.

I graduated high school at 16. I completed cosmetology school by 17 and had my license to practice. I was hyperlexic in school. I was put in the gifted program, and was told I had a very high IQ. When and where I attended school we never heard the term Autism. If my parents were told this, or that I may have been on the spectrum, they wouldn’t have done much due to the cult they were in. I now identify as neurodivergent. I am an out of the box problem solver, as you can see I have acquired numerous skills through my life and can aquire many more. I love to read and I love to learn. I have been forced to be around people but actually have always preferred back office or night settings because they are quieter and require less talking. I’m not a big talker, I’m a better writer. I have taken courses at Glendale Community College, my hope was to get into the medical field, but I was not able to continue past a few courses. I started but did not complete a semester at Northwest Arkansas Community College back about 2001, and started a course for Health Information Technology with Devry University in 2010, but had to quit due to personal problems and severe health complications. I am currently on Social Security Disability. I am sure I qualify for the Ticket to Work program but I haven’t talked to them about it. I need a remote position because my husband has dementia now and had a severe head injury with the car accident and I have to stay at home I can’t leave to go to work as I have no one to be with him although if he gets bad I can get a friend to come help. We have absolutely no family nearby. My desire as a child was to become a marine biologist but going to college was against the rules of the cult I was born in, and I wish there was some kind of college scholarship support for the kind of minority I am, someone who grew up in a weird cult. I try to always make sure to cut up six pack plastic holders I find because of what they do to sealife and I try to use as little plastic as possible. I hope someday soon it is eliminated, and the garbage dump in the ocean is cleaned up. That’s where my passion is. I have great internet speed and can plug in if needed. I have a Windows 11 laptop and earbuds with a microphone. I can get a headset if necessary. I have a quiet place to work. I just need to go back to work, and I need insurance. 6
This may not be the perfect resume, but it is really the first one in my life I have ever made. All of my other jobs never made me give a resume so I lucked out. Thank you kindly for your consideration.
