Ransom Memorial Hospital: 44 bed, JCAHO accredited acute care hospital with 6 physician staffed clinics, 1 express care clinic, occupational medicine and wound care.

CNO at RMH 2/1997 to 10/2014

CNO responsibilities included oversight of clinical services, including provision of care with evidenced based standards, to all nursing areas, employee health, education, cardiac rehab, pharmacy, social services, utilization review, JA Thomas coding program, corporate compliance, chaplain services, home health and risk management.

Responsibilities also included direct reporting relationship for plan operations during a $9M dollar expansion/renovation project. Direct reporting relationship for materials management.

Accomplishments

Value based purchasing scores resulted in recoupment of additional monies through improved HCAHPS and core measure scored.

Completed $9M dollar expansion/renovation on time, on budget, and without debt.

Gained JCAHO accreditation multiple times.

Moved into the Internal Medicine Clinic full time to help with a practice expansion and to obtain RHC designation.

PRN in the also as a Hospitalist APRN Lawrence Memorial Hospital – 173 bed, acute care top 100 hospital, community owned, not-for-profit hospital, with approximately 30,000 ER visits annually and a very active inpatient census.
