• Sample collection of the different kinds of specimens starting with phlebotomy techniques

• Performing of complete blood count (CBC) using a BC – 5380 Mind ray Analyzer

• Manual hematology tests (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate, blood slide for malaria, blood grouping, blood compatibility and reticulocyte count)

• Loading of biochemical samples using E411 and C311

• Performing serological tests using a rapid diagnostic kit

• Urinalysis microscopy and dip stick

• Examination of high virginal swabs, sputum and routine stool microscopy examination

• Appropriately confirming clinical samples and rejection of non-conforming clinical samples.

• TB screening using ZN.

• Complete blood culture for aerobic and obligate anaerobic microbes’

• Complete analysis of all forms of swabs.
