Objective

My job objective is to work hard and do best I can.

About Me

I grew up on dairy farm west of Springfield and was taught to respect nature: trees, grass, and all living things. I look at how to do things in many different ways, not just the usual way. I have worked with staff and college students 23 years at CBC and 5/1/2013 for Evangel and have many years of experience to give to others. I can do almost anything with someone show me how to do it.

Work Experience

Evangel University 5/2/2013-Present

I work as a Boiler Operator in the winter, Preventive Maintenance, work on washer dryer and other thing

Central Bible College – 1/6/1989-5/1/2013

I work hard to keep the grounds at CBC looking great by keeping the grass mowed, the leaves picked up, and the snow removed from the sidewalks and parking lots. In the blizzard 2 years ago, my team had the parking lots cleared before the students came back to classes. I have ran a backhoe, Bobcat, O-turns and push mower, worked concerts, run tractors, weed eaters, trimmed trees, leaf vacuum, welding, cutting torch, repair golf cars, trucks, and tractors. If I cannot fix a machine, I either find someone to fix it or learn how myself.

I started working at CBC on January 6, 1989 in food services, and then moved to the custodial department. I started the MSDS sheets books and assisted in running the custodial department. Then CBC need someone to turn rental houses over fast, so they moved me from custodial to housing, and soon after, added paint supervisor, carpenter, and custodial duties to my job. Most of this was the result of a reorganization of the department. After three to four years managing paint, custodial, and carpentry, a change in management resulted in my position being shifted to ground and mechanics manager. I am presently managing this area with good results and success.
