Communication
I have always considered myself a problem solver. Most situations that I am placed in I find ways to increase efficiency and productivity.
When conflicts do arise working with others, I find it best to find the common ground with that worker, find out the behavior that is causing the conflict, and attempt to resolve as not to affect the work environment.
In management and leadership positions it is critical to know what is critical for the team to understand the expectations from them, and in return for them to relay progress and issues they may have preventing them from accomplishing their goals. As a leader, it is my duty to help them move through the problem and guiding them through this period. Transparent communication between the team is essential to the success of the team goals.
Leadership
As a leader I have never found a problem with taking charge or being first to volunteer for a project. Through my experiences in working with other companies it has been necessary for me to develop and enhance my interpersonal skills. When guiding a project and assigning individuals to their duties, I insist on progress reports and communication within the project group to insure completion. Through speaking at conference and chairing meetings I am not only able to educate but guide an agenda to provide the most impact to those involved.
In my past I have also worked for relief agencies and observed many different operations and workflows and have been able to identify those that have been the most productive. Through this process I have been able to increase efficiency and productivity at the pharmacies I have serviced.
