Globaleye – UAE
Financial coordinator/BDM Nov 2019 - November 20
Established in 1999, Globaleye is an independent firm of advisors providing financial solutions to both corporate and private clients. Their expertise in international financial planning and investment strategies has made them the first choice for over 50000 clients worldwide. Specialising in offshore options and portfolio management I was working under a financial advisor with over 25 year’s experience. This showed me how to best deal with clients of UHNW & HNW, some with portfolios of over 100 million. They essentially were an insurance broker in which I learned everything from how trustees work, funds, offshore bonds and global taxation and how best to mitigate this for our clients. Devere – Barcelona
Financial coordinator/BDM Oct 2019 – Nov 19
Working for the world’s largest independent financial advisory firm in Barcelona. I completed my training and gained some fast-tracked information about the industry and the levels of capital and how best to manage individuals’ financial portfolios. I had a friend in the company that told me that this office would be shutting down and we would be relocated to Marbella or Madrid. I was subsequently offered a job in Dubai to work for another company, so I left and moved to the UAE. Thorgills Estate agency Sep 2018 - Sep 2019
Senior lettings broker:
For the past year I have been working as a lettings broker at a leading estate agency in west London. We won an award for the best lettings team in the whole of west London (3 of us). This is a highly sales driven role with two excellent MD’s who only looked for the very best and elite personnel to strive for the best people to deliver the results needed to compete as a small to medium sized agency. I had previous experience with property from my grandad and father who have been buying and redeveloping small units and selling them since I was young. Using this I knew that the sales market was slow, and results took longer to come to fruition, so I chose lettings. In my time here I billed over £250,000 in 12 months and have been promoted 3 times to become a senior broker. Rapport building, negotiating and closing techniques were at the forefront of my development here. I always hit targets and above, I found this job developed me more than all my other jobs put together. Additionally, I have built up a large networking base from my time here and have excellent relationships with CEO’s, MD’s and directors of lots of businesses across the UK and London. Pathology Group – January 2018 March 2018
A medical recruitment company specialising in placing consultant doctors into locum (temporary) positions within the NHS and some private clinics. This was a good sales environment with a fantastic team and first- class training. However, I was offered a job with a clothing company (Uni start up) to do modelling and help with business development. If this opportunity didn’t come up, I would have continued here as it was a good opportunity to establish myself within a fast paced sales environment. Future Electronics November 2016 – April 2017
MSR Associate:
I worked for an electronic distributor that is a global billion-dollar company, which gave me an extensive understanding of the corporate world. My role was to use various data analysis tools and systems, (Excel, Opal, Sam fire and SPM) for example, to control and manipulate 10 million pounds’ worth of stock solely. I was day to day liaising with suppliers such as Samsung, Panasonic and Honeywell to control the flow of stock that was being distributed around the world.
Vertical Pharma / IPS specials August 2016 – October 2016 Production assistant:
My first job after completing my degree was for a pharmaceutical company which is expanding its roots into cancer research and produces and manufactures medical products. We import raw materials from all around the world and sell to customers nationwide. My role specifically involves creating the formulation components and inputting them into a business analysis and collation programme called SAP, which would then be formulated into creating the foundations for medical drugs to be created. Tesco PLC: Multi skilled worker May 2011- July 2013
Worked in a variety of different roles including:
Bakery
Checkouts
Stock control and labelling
I worked Saturday, Sunday and Monday evening whilst studying for my A-levels, this taught me the value of hard work, being punctual and understanding the basic structure within a business. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here as it allowed me to gain some work experience and skills I can transfer into my career after university.
