I Craig Emert grew up on a small Farm/Ranch west of Echo OR. Entered into the Oregon Army National Guard during my last high school years. Got a temporary job in Pendleton OR at the Army Aviation Support Facility #2. Next I transferred to the U.S. Army for three years. Moved back to Oregon for continued service to be rehired back to a permanent Army Aviation Support Facility #2. While I was in the Oregon Army National Guard I made rank Sergeant E-5 with five troops to be responsible for. Moving to Section Sergeant E-6 with 15 people on another overseas deployment. Completing all unscheduled maintenance in support of Task Force Knighthawk. Returning to Pendleton to become the Platoon Sergeant E-7 of the advanced maintenance platoon with 25 troops. Finishing as the stand in Rear Detachment First Sergeant still E-7 totaling 21 years of time to medically retire in October 2016. One Wife two kids.
