I was hired into Caterpillar as a fabricator. I went to a program through Caterpillar to receive all of my welding certification. I welded on front rails and rear supports. I was also cross trained as a Paint Operator. I was trained to wash the frames, tape them, and get them ready for paint. I was also trained to dismantle reboot heads for cleaning, or in if they were malfunctioning. The reason for separation with the company was due to I was laid off. I received a call back from the company but at that point in time I was unable to take the job offered.
