Global snack company (formerly Kraft/Nabisco) plant producing cookies, crackers, and salted snacks along with other food products. Plant can produce up to 56 different SKUs. Plant closed and production moved to newer facility. Airveyor Operator (2005 – 2021)

Responsible as the primary operator for moving raw materials into silos and storage bins from railcars and then moving from storage into position for mixing and baking.

Operated conveyor system for up to 400,000 pounds of flour per day to accommodate daily baking needs.

Documented raw materials received into the plant using the SAP system; this amounted to 68,000 pounds of sugar, 48,000 pounds of High Fructose Corn Syrup, and 48,000 pounds of liquid sugar.

Cross-trained numerous staff over the years as back-up to operate the Airveyor system and process, utilizing a hands-on approach on the job, usually prior to working hours.

Suggested a process improvement where hose caddies were installed for multiple hoses carrying baking ingredients, which improved the life of the hoses, saving downtime and equipment costs.

Assisted supervisors with managing inventory of bulk materials.

Played a key role, in concert with supervisors, in the movement of train railcars in and out of the plant in a timely manner and returned them to the Toledo Flour Mill faster.

Practiced GMP, FDA, and OSHA safety guidelines throughout the materials movement process. Material Handler Forklift Operator (2001 – 2005) Moved raw materials such as seasoning ingredients and other recipe items into position for mixing and movement into baking process. Operated forklifts and other equipment as necessary to move items in and out of the warehouse.

Performed a variety of cleaning and sanitizing functions throughout the plant. Managed inventory of paper rolls and boxes required throughout the production process.

Cleaned and mopped floors, sanitized restrooms, removed trash, cleaned tables, and carried out all company sanitation protocols.

Followed FDA and OSHA guidelines in all cleaning processes to ensure the safety of employees and that products were uncontaminated.
