My responsibilities included organizing and allocating workforce in various areas to maintain an adequate labor balance for construction activities. I also supervised all subcontractors on the job site. I communicated regularly with all members of my team to keep them informed of the progress and sequence of the work. I also worked closely with the safety team to ensure that all aspects of the safety plan were followed. The work on this project included over 5000 displacement piles and over 150,000 yards of concrete.

This project was West Bay, Phase 2, a civil improvement project to accommodate and modernize the facility for a new ship building project. Work included 1800 precast concrete piles as well as roughly
22,000 cubic yards of concrete. My responsibilities included coordinating work efforts between various subcontractors and company workforce, quality control inspections and tracking progress of work including conferring with scheduler to identify critical areas. I ensured compliance with OSHA and site specific guidelines. I participated in safety inspections and audits. I communicated and worked well with Parsons Schedulers, Project Engineer and Project Manager.

I am currently enrolled at Colombia Southern University pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety and
Health. My degree completion has been delayed due to my work out of town. I have 6 elective courses remaining. I have completed courses in OSHA Law, OSHA Standards and Environmental Law. My current GPA is 3.9 and my transcript is available.
