• Led a group of highly skilled technicians and their successful turn-up, testing, and roll-out of L3Harris' BeOn PTT smartphone application. This app allows smartphones to securely access the City's Harris OpenSky radio network wherever reasonable cellular service is provided.
• Led a smooth computer server and networking equipment upgrade of Milwaukee's 19-site L3Harris OpenSky Radio Network. This well-planned cut-over was the result of teamwork surrounding multiple City departments and L3Harris professionals.
• Managed a citywide public safety dispatch system upgrade to L3Harris' latest Symphony Dispatch Terminals at both the Milwaukee Police and Fire Departments.
• Developed and wrote the 39-page, Milwaukee 2020 Democratic National Convention (DNC) Public Safety Communications Plan – a National Special Security Event (NSSE). Managed the successful comms for the Event.
• Engineered, purchased, and directed the installation of an optimized, system-wide antenna system upgrade consisting of down-tilted antennas directing the greatest majority of RF towards the horizon and below.
