This involved compensation by incorporating items such as a grabber, or provide/order a wheelchair, walker, cane, etc. Provide a family session informing family proper assistance for the patient for the safety of both family member and patient. Prepare patient to go home, such as learning the home or location of patient: Stairs, ramp, door width, threshold height, tub, kitchen set up, etc. Answering any questions, the family may have regarding going home.
