I have MSc degree in Electrical control Engineering from Adama Science & Technology University (ASTU). I have worked for the last 10 years in two company’s which is as a junior operation-I and junior Electro-Mechanical-I for 2 years in two Hydro power of Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP). In this role, I work as operator, and maintenance; Install, troubleshoot, upgrade and repair plant electrical equipment. This experience has given me a strong foundation within the heavy Electro-Mechanical hydro power sector in addition to proven success in:
Extending by preventive-maintenance the average life of electronic hydropower systems and components.
Troubleshooting circuitry, wiring and other electrical and instrument issues and implementing design improvements to prevent future problems.
Supervising control and data acquisition (SCADA) system.
Governor and excitation control and instrumentation system.
Generator and Turbine Protection system.
Programmable logic control (PLC) system.
Power plant electrical and mechanical hydraulic system. Additionally am working in the areas of Chemical Industry Corporation starting from for 6 year as a Shift Electrical and Instrument Engineer. During my tenure at Awash Melkassa Chemical Factory I expert in control and instrumentation which is interfacing with DCS (Distributing controlling System). Currently I am working at Ethiopian Electrical Power (EEP) as an Electrical Engineer and giving technical support for the whole power plants in the field of control and instrumentation. In addition I have a talent to design printing circuit board (PCB) and develop Hardware using Proteus professional design tool using Micro-controller and Arduino, software developing including Micro-C programing and Lab View real time simulation software.
