I am team-oriented, ambitious young women in pursuit of becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner I have a strong track record of establishing solid relationships, setting goals for myself, and achieving them because of my strong work ethics and determination to have success in areas I'm immensely passionate about. My goals and aspirations are what motivate me to go to work every day. I studied at St. Bonaventure University while playing division 1 lacrosse, SUNY Oswego while playing division 3 lacrosse, Binghamton University, Corning, and Onondaga Community College and have a goal of starting nursing school in the fall of 2022 at Binghamton University Decker College of Nursing. DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL, EXCEPTIONAL FAMILY RESOURCES Exceptional Family Resources is an agency serving individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Onondaga Country. Partnered with individuals and their families, EFR provides services, information, advocacy, and other supports to enhance lives and foster community acceptance. Community Habilitation Direct Support Professionals (DSP) teaches life skills, provides support, and facilitates exploration of new activities necessary to enhance an individual’s development. Respite Providers provide a break for parents, while creating fun community-based and in-home activities and supports to people with disabilities. SEPTEMBER 2021 – MAY 2021

NURSES AID, SCHUYLER HOSPITAL

I was responding to codes in the ER giving compressions for CPR, while taking care and being responsible for 16 patients at a time. As a nursing aid I did vitals, blood sugars, skills of daily living and assisted in action plans for treatment for the patients on the Medical Surgical Unit and the Emergency department of the hospital.

PROGRAM SUPERVISOR, YMCA

The YMCA partnered with the Syracuse City School District and Say Yes to Education to create the Urban Swim Program. The Urban Swim Program is designed to dramatically cut the number of swim-related fatalities among minorities. As the supervisor, I hired new employees, wrote out lesson plans and was responsible for the program running smoothly on a daily basis. EDUCATION

VOLUNTEER

I was a volunteer respite care provider for a program called Wellness G.I.F.T.S. Inc. held at Keuka Park. Wellness G.I.F.T.S. Inc. Is a non- profit organization that focuses on families who have individuals with developmental disabilities of any age, living at home with their parents or caregivers. Wellness holds retreats the provide respite, recreation, and rejuvenation, as well as education and social networking for the entire family. As a volunteer I am assigned a group of campers. I was able to really get to know them personally. I get the opportunity to talk to them and help them with any issue they might have as well as giving them a third party to express themselves with.
