ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
•Volunteer/Organized activities, fundraisers, and community events
As a volunteer, I was trusted with the management of money as well as utilized for my organizational and people skills. I designed the tickets and organized the tracking of sales, while being responsible for ensuring the evenings activities went as scheduled. I was involved in our Drama class. I believe drama increased my confidence, helped me build a better rapport with the public, and taught me that everyone has the ability to express themselves through art. My senior year I played the lead role and was also awarded for the highest ticket sales. It was truly an experience that enhanced my life for the better. I find it easier, the more I am involved with events, to talk with people and encourage them to participate.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Graphic Design, and Quick books
I spent my Freshman and Sophomore summers working for Greenskeeper Landscape and Excavation, LLC where I answered phones, scheduled services and entered Accounts Payable. The most challenging aspect of the job was dealing with angry customers. I received compliments for my ability to talk with people on a professional level for such a young person, as well as for my ability to diffuse conflict. I enjoyed working in the office and learning QuickBooks, as well as enhancing my personal skills.
