With this job, the faculty introduced a corporate social initiative under “DUT Cares”. Where 10 students including myself worked along with lecturers to assist a rural school by identifying problems with it that needed to be attended to. This meant coming up with strategies on how to solve the problems and we were required to approach potential sponsors to help fund the project or donate with their resources.
