2000’s

Acquisition Consultant CLS Group

Lucent Technologies Australia Pty Limited (Lucent) – Lucent had contracted to build a new wireless phone system in Australia’s five (5) major cities for One-Tel Pty Limited.

Soft Launch Manager – Managed all aspects of a test coverage area in Brisbane. This included acquisition, construction, equipment, Radio Frequency and Microwave. Brisbane’s Soft Launch was the largest and most successful in Australia.

Managed the acquisition phase for 100+ sites in Brisbane. This mainly entailed managing Lucent’s subcontractors, dealing with legal council to acquire sites under the Telecommunications Act (similar to our eminent domain) and closing the difficult deals..

Managed approximately five hundred (500) projects at any one time, across North America.

Projects managed included Easements, Permits (Government/Railroad) and Building Entrance Agreements.

Negotiated agreements with large corporate clients for multiple buildings in major cities.

Acquisition Manager American Tower Corp.

Managed Acquisition Department for the States of Kansas, Wyoming and Nebraska (150+ sites).

Zoning for the various states including meetings with zoning/planning officials, preparation of Conditional Use Permit Applications and public hearings.

Coordinate survey, environmental and FAA aspects for all sites.

Acquisition Manager Capital Land Services, Inc.

Sprint PCS – Site Acquisition and Zoning for in the Spokane MTA (Washington and Idaho), the Phoenix MTA (Phoenix and Scottsdale) and the Detroit MTA (Oakland County, Michigan).

Nextel – Site Acquisition in the Dallas MTA (Dallas, San Antonio and Corpus Christi).

Nextel – Managed the acquisition department in the Houston MTA (60+ sites in a multi-county area around Houston, Galveston and Lake Charles, LA).

Sr. Land Agent Wilbanks Corporation

Pacific Gas Transmission (PGT) – Route selection and refinement for 88 miles of natural gas pipeline. Successfully negotiated right-of-way agreements with 60 corporate and private landowners. Purchased the terminus meter lot and mainline valve sites. Supervised land aspects of construction, clean-up and restoration for 50 miles of the pipeline route. Settled final damages for the pipeline project.

Enron Storage Co. – Researched title and purchased options to acquire land for underground gas storage.

Southern Pacific Transportation Co. – Facilitated the sale of Southern Pacific’s right-of-way to the Rapid Transit District of Denver, Colorado.

ANR Pipeline Company – Acquisition of right-of-way.

NOARK Pipeline System – Acquisition of right-of-way and mainline valve sites.

1980’s

Petroleum Landman High Plains Energy Company

Apex Energy Company – Verified title and approved drafts in excess of One Million Dollars. Responsible for securing bids and contracting dirt work for drill sites and roads to drill sites.

Oryx Production Company – Researched title and purchased Oil and Gas Leases.

Consultant Texas Oil and Gas

Part of a five member management team which modified and tested the software, hired and trained a staff of twenty-five people to convert 110,000 Oil and Gas Leases (including associated production and pooling agreements).
