Parks & Recreation Director, Long Hill Township, NJ Responsible for the development and management of all township recreation programs; oversight of all recreational facilities i ncluding a 17 acre recreational facility/multi-sport fields, 4 tennis courts, one baseball/softball field, 4 playgrounds, recreational swimming lake as well as trails and other pocket parks; development and administration of $170K operating budget; staffing of all seasonal programs including camp counselors, lifeguards, and referees totaling approximately 150 employees per year; recommend/implement recreation procedures, policies, and ordinances; advertising/notification of all programs to newspapers, website, local access television, schools and other community organizations. Responsible for the management of many capital projects including maintenance and repair work to tennis courts, grass fields, park amenities, and the installation and maintenance of a synthetic turf field, 3 LED sports lighting projects, and 3 new playgrounds.
