For the two years while I was at Ryder, I was inside of the captains shop. I was the only person to maintain this shop. This included maintaining 50 trucks and trailers to myself. I completed preventive maintenance on these trucks and trailers. I also had a fleet of Nissan cargo vans that I had to do preventative maintenance on. I got certifications in air brakes, hydraulic brakes preventative maintenance, tire and wheel, and also took an online cummings class.

I'm currently working as a diesel mechanic were I perform the basic P.M.'s and annual checks on tractors and trailers. I also do other maintenance to the tractors as far as changing brakes, replacing wheel seals, changing tires, changing oil, fuel filter, windshields, and etc. Every other week I'm on call.

WELDING/ELKAY PLUMBING June 2013 to July 2016

at Elkay Plumbing. I would perform different methods to remove all dents and any defects within the stainless-steel sinks. My basic job was to use a robotic welder to weld collars onto the product. I would finish them by grinding access weld off and polishing. Then palletizing the sinks for shipping warehouse. While being there, I earned a certificate for CPR in the First Responders Training. If anyone was to get hurt on the job I was the one, they called on.

When I first started as a Machine Operator, my job was to maintain an injection machine, on a production line. The injection machine injects water, butter, salt etc. into the product. I got promoted as a Line leader one year later. As a Line leader, my role was to come in early, set up conveyor belts, grinders, pumps, and heat exchange systems to meet everyday production goals.
