While programming on the window’s platform, we reference the PKI infrastructure to secure data on a secure network using SSL (Secure Socket Layer). The FST (Fleet Synthetic Training) project uses an application built to collect, store, and transfer data for the FST (Fleet Synthetic Team) in the NAVO department. The applications for FST which are classified communicate with METOC (Joint Meteorology Oceanographic) and NMDSF (Navy METOC Data Services Framework) web service. We implement the whole JCA (Java Cryptography Architecture) and JCE (Java Encryption Extension) infrastructure. Producing quality code, my company and I use sonarQube to check for critical warnings or code check within our program. I also take a lead role such as creating use case, test case, speaking with the client, and helping with the design document.

While programming on the window’s platform, the standard IDE we used were visual studio 2008 and 2012. This is where my company and I modularly coded c++ while using Qt’s API. Once the work is compiled and executed in Visual Studio. We used the c-make interface to update changes or progress made to the system.
