PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Senior Office Assistant Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Dec 2018 Present

As a Senior Office Assistant, from December 2018 to present, I pick up, sort and distribute mail within the plant. I answer phones, and use the paging system to contact employees daily. I greet the visitors and have them sign our visitor s logbook and then notify the employee they are there to see and escort visitors to their destination, when requested. I maintain daily visitor log sheet and submit a monthly summary report, using Excel. I approve timesheets for our temporary employees and I audit payroll for Security staff. I also review IT contractor s timesheets and sent them to the Temp Agency. During the Pandemic, I met visitors at the door and witnessed temperature checks, which allowed entrance to the visitor logbook. I assisted the Communication Department staff when they scheduled public tours at the plant by directing participants to designation, getting swag bags ready for each of them, getting refreshments ready for them upon arrival, and cleaning up once participants departed. I check office supplies daily and keep up on the supply inventory. I place supply orders weekly through Staples and keep a spreadsheet on what I ordered. I scan and index invoices using a Kofax scanning machine. I train incoming Senior Office Assistant Contractors and assist them with their daily job duties that the Supervisor assigns to them. For example, how to properly take care of sensitive mail, how to answer phones, transfer or page, and how to check visitors in. I hang conference room calendars daily outside our conference rooms. I fuel our assigned county vehicles on a weekly basis. I collect mileage from our assigned vehicles and update the data on an Excel spreadsheet, on a monthly basis. I assist supervisors with scheduling interviews and send out the notifications to each person. Whenever my supervisor takes vacation, I work out of class and take on supervisor duties: assign weekly work schedule for the week, approve timesheets for our temporary Senior Office Assistant contractor, and take care of any issues/questions that may arise.

Customer Service Pro Verizon Wireless June 2013 - January 2017

As a Customer Service Pro, my duties were taking escalated inbound calls on a daily basis assisting customers with billing issues and device issues. I ran account analysis for customers on a daily basis to discuss and give recommendations that would best fit their needs. I took payments from customers and I made payment arrangements when requested by customers to avoid suspensions. I placed orders for customers when needed and I would send instructions via email how to activate which gave them a stellar customer service experience. I assisted my supervisor with our daily stats for a team of fifteen. I presented any updated information to my team every morning before getting on the phones. I was on floor support assisting all of the teams when supervisors had meetings. I proofread all the time reporting and timesheets for my team before submitting them to my supervisor for final approval. I took escalated calls from upset customers to assist them and resolve more of the complexed issues. I participated in any promotional projects whenever they it was presented.

Global Enterprise Advisor Verizon Wireless January 2005 June 2013

As a Global Enterprise Advisor, I proactively maintained client relationships as well as building new relationships with other enterprises of government accounts. I consistently worked and provided improvements for my assigned accounts, which consisted of over a thousand plus phone users within the accounts. Each account I managed had a single point of contact who I would communicated with on a daily basis. I consistently worked and provided improvements for each of my assigned accounts by addressing key performance issues. I would proactively develop strategies, and solutions for complex issues based on my account analysis. I would provide excellent customer service and took the initiative in responding to my customer needs. I was always looking for ways to improve, and enhance opportunities to drive new revenue growth for our company.
