-l am responsible for the intake, evaluation, and resolution of day to day claims against Alliant Energy that fall within our self-insured retention

-l provide notice to our excess insurer of those matters that may exceed our self-insured retention, and then coordinate and communicate the investigation and management of those claim matters with the insurer and drive the claim to resolution

-l manage claims that end up in litigation, including identification of and placement with outside counsel, assistance and coordination with counsel and Alliant employees through the litigation process, up to, and including trial, mediation, or other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

-The types of claims handled include Property and Premise Liability, Automobile Physical Damage and Auto Liability, General Liability, lnland Marine, Boiler and Machinery, and other. All handled from cradle to grave.
