Coordinated with staff members and the finance department on allocating Federal, State, and local funds to sub-recipients. Attended public meetings, budget hearings, and Funding agencies and sub-recipients Board meetings agencies.

Approved and processed ICE payments and requested reimbursement from federal, state, and local grantors. Organized and staffed bi-annual project status meetings with each Service Board.

Participated in high-level, strategic program planning and implementation, including funding allocation among the Service Boards, project distribution, and funding reconciliation.

Identified stalled ICE projects and developed recommendations for closing out reprogramming or re-initiating these projects.

Reconciled the ICE budget quarterly in coordination with the finance department.

(Service Boards).

Managed a team of 6 consultants, reviewed consultant progress reports and presentations, processed consultant payment requests and progress reports, produced monthly and annual project progress reports, coordinated Service Board’s project participation and responses to RTA, obtained Service Boards and RTA Board approval of regional State of Good Repair (SGR) needs analysis, Represented RTA at conferences and round tables and provided quarterly and semi- annual progress and financial reports to funding agencies, including FTA, IDOT, and CMAP. Planned, promoted, and conducted Transit Asset Management training for RTA, Service Boards, and partner agencies. Hired and trained interns.

Worked with Service Boards, consultants, and RTA planning and performance measures divisions to implement and monitor SGR performance measures. Researched peer SGR policies, standards, and funding allocations.

Reviewed project-related press releases and responded to media and public requests for information.

Resolved project-related legal, communications, and procurement issues with the General Counsel, Director of Communications, and Director of Procurement.

Applied for FTA-funded Transit Asset Management, Climate Change Mitigation, and Safety grants. Represented RTA at FTA meetings and provided quarterly reports.

Prepared project-related materials and PowerPoint presentations for RTA Board meetings.

Successfully managed the Capital Assets Condition Assessment Inventory Phase I and the Transit Asset Management Pilot project to completion.
