I provide safety training and ensure all safety measures are being met while crew members perform their jobs.

I follow all OSHA safety guidelines and I stay current on all safety initiatives.

Palacios Marine Industry at Formosa- Safety technician (2019-2022)

Palacios Marine Industry at Formosa- Safety Tech - I inspected and checked for potential hazards around the jobsites making sure all employees followed OSHA guidelines. Ensured that all employees had proper PPE for the hazards that were at that specific jobsite. Ensured all required documentation was completed properly (ex: Job Safety Analysis). Ensured all employees followed all company rules and policies.

Brand Energy- Chemical plant scaffold foreman (2015-2019)

I supervise several crew members. Making sure each scaffold job is done in a safe and economical manner. I am responsible for the documentation of each job. I am responsible for making sure the job is cost effective for Brand as well as Dow Chemical. I make sure to keep up with all the new safety measures to ensure my crew are performing tasks safely.

Nabors Drilling- Floor hand (2014-2015)

Hands-on-Training for oil drilling and well servicing

Rigging up and down, assisting the driller and derrick hand in maintenance and repair of rig equipment. I have experience in tripping and running drill pipe in and out of the well bore. I am experienced in handling drill pipe, drill collars, slips and tongs. I have induction training experience on well servicing, basic tools identification and equipment, rod servicing, tubing servicing, rigging and swabbing. I am acquainted with various terms and definitions, general information, rig safety, awareness, prevention and avoiding of slips, trips, and falls. I am also acquainted with the use of standard OSHA personal protective equipment. I have experience with basic tools and equipment handling, proper tools use and operations &, forklift operation for drilling. I perform miscellaneous duties including lubricating the machinery, cleaning up and placing tools in their proper place, racking pipe and other jobs. Performing all duties in safe manner

I supervise a total of 12 crew members. Making sure each scaffold job is done in a safe and economical manner. I am responsible for the documentation of each job. I also hold a position as a member of the Voluntary Protection Program, keeping up with all the new safety measures.

Assist in controlling traffic during construction work.

Duties include making sure traffic is safe in construction zones. Making sure signage that is in use is correct.

Watch for vehicles neglecting to stop at the other end. Be aware of emergency vehicles: Aide, Fire, Police (marked or unmarked) and how to safely direct them through. Watch for vehicles on side roads and driveways.
