KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Extensive experience in Washington, DC working with regulatory agencies on environmental, safety and health program development to include changes to the Federal Register for field implementation.
Developed, implemented, and managed new Environmental and Safety Management programs at ARCO Coal and ARCO Oil and Gas Co., resulting in major loss reductions for the company.
Liaison for ARCO Oil and Gas Co. with Santa Barbara County, Dept. of Oil and Gas. EPA and Coast Guard for obtaining permits for the building of a new offshore platform in the Santa Barbara Channel.
Designed and deployed a computer program to provide case management for Adolph Coors Self Insured Workers’ Compensation covering 10,000 employees throughout Colorado.
Designed and implemented an 18-month program reducing Workers’ Compensation losses from $2 million per year to $.03 million per year at Ketema Manufacturing, Inc.
Established a company-wide Medical Disability Management Plan at Ketema, Inc. leading to more effective case management and reduction of lost work time.
President of the Beer Industry Safety Advisory Group.
Managed alongside other industry groups to impact Federal Safety Regulations resulting in a savings to Coors more than $24 million.
Safety and Environmental Manager on major construction projects such as the Uranium Mill Tailing Remedial Action Program, construction of Denver International Airport, the demolition and remediation of the Rocky Mt. Arsenal (8yrs), construction of large surface mining projects in Wyoming (4 yrs).
