Brief Overview of Project:

The objective of our project was to remotely control the instrument, HP8920A. This involves developing of instrument driver software, to facilitate transmitting settings and requesting status commands over a GPIB cable, which connects the computer and the instrument. The setting commands will alter the setting parameters of the instrument while the status commands will cause the instrument to return to its current status. This software was developed using Microsoft Visual C++ on Windows XP Platform.
