ACHIEVEMENTS

2021- Successfully completed all my examinations within the University of the West Indies and I was able to graduate with a GPA of 3.38 in a BSc Mechanical Engineering.

2020- Successfully completed a combined course of study in Rigging, Slinging, Signal Person and Spotter Training.

2018- Achieved an Additional Scholarship from Naparima Boys’ College with the Ministry of Education.

2011- I was chosen to play competitive football for T&TEC (under fourteen Pro-league Football) in which our team placed 3

in the entire competition.

EXPERIENCE

2021- Current- During my tenure at D. Jaglal and Sons limited, I was able to expand my engineering knowledge with hands on experience and benefited from honoring a critical role in a plethora of projects which spanned many disciplines. Some of my responsibilities included the following: o Attending site visits

o Preparation of engineering drawings

o Material take-off from existing drawings

o Preparation of lifting Plans

o Resource planning and scheduling of manpower and equipment to successfully execute ongoing daily jobs.

o Preparation of dossier packages for completed jobs/projects. o Calculation of manpower requirements and preparation of invoices for the contractor. o Ensuring that the contractor met the Quality Requirements of the client (Welding, Painting, Certification etc.)

1) With my engineering background I have developed the ability to generate Lift Plans. Lift Plans done for various contractors of the Paria Fuel Trading Company Limited: a. D. Jaglal and Sons Limited - completed a plethora of Lift Plans for this company. Predominant Lift Plans were:

i. #11 Sealine- Paramount 30T Crane was utilized for the installation of various 12-inch spools at #1 Pump house (Paria) and Boatshed (Paria). ii. M50 Gasoline Pipe - DS Movers 30T Hiab Truck used for the installation of a 16-inch spools approximately 60-feet in length under the Southern Main Road.

iii. 4-inch Butane Pipe- D. Jaglal and Sons Ltd. 125 Hiab was applied to install a 4-inch spools on GRC (Guaracara Refining Company) overhead pipe rack.

iv. Removal and Installation of Pumps – D. Jaglal and Sons Ltd. 125 Hiab and 5T Chain Block required for the removal and installation of Pump 2996, 2997, 2432.

v. Relocation of GRC (Guaracara Refining Company) Switch Gears

(8’ x 10’ x 12’). Bartlett Haulage 850 Effer Hiab assisted with the relocation of 4 Switch Gears from GRC warehouse to Central Sub Station. b. Southern Pumping Service Limited- Prepared various Lift Plans for Southern Pumping Service Limited.

Most Recent Lift Plans were:

i. Butane Vessel (V701, V702, V703, V704)- Southern Pumping 27500-E4 Hiab was utilized for the mobilization of a 375 Compressor to assist with the supply of fresh air to the vessels while the Fabrication crew from D. Jaglal and Sons Limited did repairs inside the vessel. ii. Rescue (Retrieval of the 4 men that got stuck inside of #36 Sealine (36-inch Pipe). A 2.7 Ton Single Stage Centrifugal Pump was loaded onto a barge with the use of Bartlett Haulage 850 Effer Hiab.

c. Halkyon General Contracting Limited- Develop many Lift Plans for Halkyon General Contraction Limited.

Example of these Lift Plans were:

i. Installation of Camera System (Paria)- Halkyon Aerial Lift Truck for the installation of all cameras located within Paria

ii. Air condition service and installation (Paria)- Halkyon Aerial Lift Truck to service and install all the Air condition at Paria Admin Building. 2) Competent to work as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer (QAQC). Developed and implemented D. Jaglal and Son Limited Dossier Package which included

(Weld Map, welder code, schedule of the material being welded, fit up acceptance form, welding procedure, hydro test acceptance form, painting procedure, painting acceptance form). Also, certification of the equipment throughout the project (example; Pressure Gauge, Hiab Truck Certification, Anchor Profile and Dry Film Thickness calibration certification) were submitted within the project’s dossier package. Highlighted dossier packages are:

1. #11 Sealine

2. M50 Gasoline Line

3) At the end of site visits I was able to determine the quantities of the materials required to complete the project (Material List) from engineering drawings (AutoCAD). This was one of my various responsibilities at D. Jaglal and Sons Limited. Some of the larger Projects were:

4. 3-inch Nitrogen Line

5. 1-1/2 Natural Gas Line

4) I am also capable of executing fabrication calculations for example: the fabrication of spools that consist of: elbows, tees, flanges, etc. Some of the projects in which I demonstrated this competency include:

5) Assisted Trini Chang Logistics Limited in the preparation for the Safe to Work (STOW) certification.

My contributions included:

1. Developed a schedule to track expiration of the equipment owned by Trini Chang Logistics Limited.

2. Developed an equipment log data base to identify the real time location of all the equipment of Trini Chang Logistics Limited that is if the equipment is being rented, stored in the company’s off-site location, or if the equipment is currently on site.) 3. Developed an emergency contact data sheet for Trini Chang Logistics Limited to highlight person’s emergency data in case of emergency (example: contact info, data of birth, next of kin and many more).
