● Home Alarm system (completed)
Magnetic Reed switch on door frame would trigger an interrupt and play a randomly selected PWM generated audible tone sequence corresponding to an associated password. An RGB LED would indicate the state of the alarm at all times. A master key was also created to bypass the alarm entirely and enter the safe state before self-arming again after a set period.
● Hidden Camera detector (in progress)
By using a nonlinear junction detector, a beamformer and a spectroscopy IC for detection of an anti-reflective coating commonly found on camera lenses, a hidden camera can be revealed. Schematic, PCBA and polyurethane box all custom designed from scratch.
