Charlottesville, VA *************@*****.*** /434-***-****
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I have recently graduated in the month of May, 2022 from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner. I have also passed my FNP certification board exam and has acquired my FNP license. I am seeking a job at your highly esteemed institution, and would be delighted if offered a position in this capacity.
I currently work at University of Virginia Health System and have 25 years of experience working in various departments of the hospital. At the present time, I work as nurse on the Dialysis unit, and the Emergency Department (ED) of the hospital. In this role, I am responsible for managing acute care of acutely sick dialysis patients. I have developed leadership skills, multi-tasking, and collaborating with the team for best patient outcomes. Working in the ED department has refined my skills of critical thinking, and sound decision making. I am a team player, curious learner, and a committed employee. I endeavor to provide efficient, compassionate yet cost effective care for our patients. I have been involved in developing an evidence - based protocol for a more effective dialysis treatment that also helped in cutting cost.
I have high regards for values of partnership, and progress. I admire institution that encourages curiosity and innovative ideas. My passion for this field, combined with my 600 hours of hands on clinical experience and many more in didactics, has prepared me to embark on the new journey as a Nurse Practitioner. I am eager to join your institution, learn, & grow, and be an asset to your institution.
Please contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing back from you. I am available for an interview at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Meenakshi Chavan
