Automatic Ball Return Solidoworks, Microsoft Office Jan. – Apr. 2021
• Developed an automatic ball return mechanism to carry balls from one floor to another and sort them by size.
• Utilized Solidworks to design mechanism around the dimensional constraints and create technical drawings.
• Built prototype of the ball sorting mechanism to test validity of design before implementing into final product.
• Created a manual explaining the mechanical and electrical portions of the mechanism along with any safety precautions.
• Used Microsoft Office to document and the present the calculations and results to the client. Theo Jensen Walking Mechanism Solidworks, Geogebra Aug. – Dec. 2020
• Designed a single degree of freedom robotic walking trainer based on the Theo Jensen walking mechanism that was to walk at a constant speed and under a certain amount of weight.
• Created a prototype in Geogebra to test the dimensional constraints of the device.
• Utilized Solidworks to create the final product using the proper dimensions and materials to operate under the speed and weight constraints.
Crank Phone Charger Inventor Feb. – Apr. 2018
• Developed a cranking mechanism that could produce a constant output of five volts to charge an iPhone to 25 percent.
• Utilized Inventor to design gears for the mechanism to be laser cut.
• Assembled the charger and found that ten minutes of cranking would produce a voltage output of seven. Experience
Montclair Property Owners Association May – Sep. 2016/2017 Recreation Guard Montclair, Virginia
• Acted as security for company owned beaches by signing members in, declining people without a pass, and removing any individuals causing a disturbance from the premises.
• Assisted in the scheduling and planning of events with the managers.
• Responsible for unlocking all devices at the beach when it opens and locking them up at closing time to prevent any theft or damage to company property.
