Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Unit University Of Mississippi Medical Center - Jackson, MS 02/2014 - Current
Treated patients suffering from chronic and acute medical concerns with emphasis in infectious diseases and gastrointestinal disorders to include HIV, tuberculosis, COVID-19, cryptococcal meningitis, histoplasmosis, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver cirrhosis, and alcohol/drug withdrawal. VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
2015 - Moldova Medical Mission trip
I served as a Triage nurse for 6 days seeing over 500 patients. The 500 patients came from all over the region of Moldova and surrounding areas for various medical care. I assisted 4 physicians with preventative screenings.
2022- present- Serves as a volunteer at the local free clinic Mission First
Assisted the PA in duties such as vital signs, phlebotomy, assessments, medication management, history and physical, and plan of care. Assisted GYN doctors with Pap-smears and pelvic exams.
