My varied work experience as an EMT and driver has prepared me for the position of CDL driver. I am currently looking for employment opportunities. I believe I am qualified for this position because of my hands-on work experience and driver training.

During my time with UniFirst, I grew both personally and professionally. In Farmington, NM our location provided me with the opportunity to drive local and OTR. Working as an RSR, (route sales representative) gave me the opportunity, to drive approximately 1,200 miles a week delivering to New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. We were responsible for keeping up with DOT regulations, inventory management, customer advocacy and service, and associated delivery responsibilities. My experience totaled approximately 3 years.

Albuquerque Ambulance is the service where I have spent my time in the field working as an EMT. During this time, I have been employed full time where we transport all 911 calls, IFT, (both ALS and ILS trucks) PIIP van, (Public Inebriate Intervention Program) and all different forms of public assistance. Albuquerque Ambulance services the area of Bernalillo County with a population of approximately 600,000 people and averages 145,000-150,000 calls per year. With the average call volume as elevated as it as and the number of hours I have spent in the field I have the equivalent of 4 years in the field in a high call volume, ALS system.

Currently, I am employed with amazon.com Services LLC on the TOM team (transportation associate). We are responsible for all yard check-ins/check-outs, monitoring departure times, and regular trailer movements with a terminal tractor. DEN2, the Fulfillment Center I work at, has some of the highest traffic of any amazon facility in the Denver area. We have approximately 600-800 events happening daily. From trailer moves, yard audits, check-ins/check-outs, to pre-trip/post-trip inspections. We are a high volume facility.

I believe that I am uniquely qualified for the position of CDL driver as I have experience working in a safety environment and conducting myself accordingly. I am very self-sufficient and have a drive to excel. I have experience in various related environments and know what it will take to complete the job.
