Objective

To obtain a technical support/developer role that utilizes my extensive design background. I have a wide range of knowledge and prefer a position where I am able to utilize this knowledge. I am able to multitask and I communicate very well. I work efficiently both independently and as a team player. I enjoy my profession and I believe it shows in my work and workplace attitude. I know I would be a strong asset for any design room and I would appreciate the opportunity to prove this.

Collabera Inc, Basking Ridge, NJ - March 2022 to present (Remote) SOLIDWORKS/PDM developer for Amazon Robotics

● My duties include providing technical support to Amazon's robotic engineers for Solidworks and PDM 2021. I also maintain the PDM administration roles (new users, workflow, groups, etc). I'm utilizing ServiceNow and SIM ticketing for all technical support inquiries.

● I have been also moved into supporting JAMA, OrCAD and CAMWorks. Advics Manufacturing, Lebanon, OH - July 2015 to April 2022 (Hybrid)

● I was designing fixtures, machinery, tooling and a variety of other complex components to assist in the machining and assembly of brake calipers utilizing Solidworks 2017. Along with my design responsibilities I manage Solidworks, PDM, Inventor, Vault, design standards and techs support for the engineering team.

Sexton Industrial, Inc., Middletown, OH March 2015 to July 2015 Sexton Industrial is manufacturer of specialty skid units, pressure vessels and other custom design needs.

● As the designer I developed a concept and produced design and details for fabrication. I worked directly with our shop personnel to assist in the fabrication and problem solving. My position also included running Section VII Div 1 calculations using Compress for these and other pressure vessels we design. Steam Systems, Inc., Middletown, OH 2012 to March 2015 (Hybrid) Steam Systems leading manufacturer of industrial filters and pressure vessels.

● As the design manager I am currently in charge of all communication with the end user to oversee the projects are completed on time and correctly. I am using Autodesk Inventor to design and detail specialty industrial filters for a wide range of industries such power plants, paper mills, hospitals and a range of other facilities. I also work directly with our shop personnel to assist in the fabrication and problem solving. My position also includes running Section VII Div 1 calculations using Compress for these and other pressure vessels we design.

Superior Design and Engineering, Inc., Dayton, OH 2004-2012 I owned and operated this company solely and was located in Dayton, Ohio. Contract with Production Control Units, Inc., Moraine, Ohio 2004-2012

● As a product designer I designed a variety of fill equipment for the automotive industry, farm equipment, appliances and more. These units specialized in evacuating and filling the A/C, power steering, brake and radiator units. I would follow thru with the design to the fabrication to insure the products were completed correctly. On the fly problem solving was a must with this position. All design work was completed using Autodesk Inventor, Mechanical Desktop and AutoCAD. Contract with the United States Air Force, Dayton, Ohio 2003-2004

● Designed communications and other units for production. I provided 3d models and detailed drawings. Required precise and extensive communication and attention to detail. Autodesk Inventor was used for these projects.

Industrial Design Concepts, Inc., Dayton, OH 1994 – 2004 Industrial Design Concepts was a design firm located in Dayton, Ohio. Detailer/Designer/Design Manager/Sales Manager

● As a detailer my responsibilities were to assist the lead designer in producing formal detail sheets for fabrication.

● As a designer my responsibilities included producing the required designs and delegating the detailing portions to an assigned detailer or detailers.

● As the design manager I oversaw the design room, delegated projects, managed employee hours, interacted with our customers and participated in quoting projects. I also managed and set up all design standards for the company as well as managed the electronic files. All design work was completed using Mechanical Desktop and AutoCAD.

● As the sales manager I actively pursued new clients via our database as well as cold calls. I would handle the tasks involved with landing projects for the company including, initial meetings, quotes and communication during the time the project was being handled.
