JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Supervision of Quality inspection, In-process/stage inspection, melt control including furnace loading, temperature control, Composition correction and troubleshooting, melt treatment, pouring and interpreting microstructures.

• Performing and Monitoring process parameters of Melting process, Moulding process and recording actions carry on shop floor.

• Responsible for Daily Work Management (DWM) at the end of every shift.

• Coordinating with Quality team and laboratory for interpreting Metallurgical results, Microstructures, defects and rejection.

• Responsible for process improvements to control/reduce rejections based on rejection review.

• Knowledge in spectrometer operation.

• To identify training needs for the Production personal and provide the same as and when required.

• Manufacturing process development activities.

• Analysing and solving problems through various approaches like 5s etc.

• Maintaining and updating Production Documents and Records with easy identification and traceability.

• Handling shift activities, Manpower control and capable of dealing with labour in a friendly manner.

2. Diploma Trainee –Final Quality

SUNDARAM FASTENERS LTD.-Plant – 4, (TVS - Autolec Division), Gummidipoondi.

From 03March 2009 to 31 July 2014.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Performing Final Quality inspection, In-process/stage inspection to Control and ensure rejection & rejected of Finishedproducts.

• Performing Visual Inspection and Dimensional inspection of Finished products.

• Performing routine calibration of Equipments to ensure all QC Equipment’s and measuring tools used are calibrated.

• Expertise in handling inspection instruments like Digital Vernier calliper, Height gauge, Digital Micrometer.

• Keeping all Qualityrecords and updating Quality Documents and Records with easy identification and traceability.

• Defect identification -reporting and recording in Log sheets.

• Handling shift activities and capable of dealing with labour in a friendly manner.

• Able to multi-task and strong interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge in MS-Office and All Versions of Windows.
