Current Project: Msheireb Downtown Heart of Doha Project (Phase 3) Msheireb is the world’s first sustainable downtown regeneration project aiming to revive the old commercial district with a new architectural language that is modern yet inspired by traditional Qatari heritage and architecture, utilizing the latest in sustainable technologies and the highest standards in green building.

Phase 3 is a mixed-used development comprising of 14 buildings (ranging from 6 to 22 stores) including residential and office buildings, retail spaces, a hotel and a mosque, all situated over 4 levels of underground car parking area. Total project cost QAR 3 billion. EXPERIENCE:

Senior MEP Project Manager at OBAYASHI QATAR LLC from 1st July 2013 till date on Msheireb Downtown Heart of Doha Project (Phase 3):

Key duties as Senior MEP Project Manager:

Manage all MEP activities at different stages (EPC) Engineering, Procurement& Construction.

Prepare strategies and plans to properly progress the works as per project overall approved program.

Manage and Supervise the MEP Subcontractor and Specialists to fulfil their obligations within the Project Program.

Ensure completion of all LEED Credits required toward the achievement of LEED Gold certification.

Review MEP Subcontractor’s monthly invoices & payments certificates for completed works and progress in addition to their final Accounts and Settlements.

Completion of all Snags and Defects during DLP period till final handover to Operator and Client .

Due to On time/Outstanding performance and achievements, I was promoted on 13th June-2019 till date to Project Director in order to properly supervise & lead project departments to project Completion, Close Out, Handing Over and receiving Building Completion Certificate (BCC).

Senior MEP Construction Manager at OBAYASHI CORPORATION /Dubai on Dubai Metro Project for both Red & Green Lines from 28th July- 2007 till 30th June-2013 : Key duties as Senior MEP Construction Manager:

Reviewing MEP Services Drawings, Builder Works Drawings & Architectural to ensure full coordination.

Preparing and reviewing all MEP Materials Submittals for various MEP Systems against Project Specifications, Statuary/ Authorities Codes & International Codes in addition to ensure timely submission and approvals.

Directing MEP Team & Engineers dedicated for the project to meet the planned completion Targets & Project Milestones.

Supervising Testing and Commissioning plan for MEP systems and activities.

Handing over all Metro Stations to Dubai Civil Defense Authority (DCDD) as representative of Obayashi Middle East.

Handing over MEP systems for stations to Metro Operator.

Manage Maintenance Team during DLP in preparation of Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Maintenance Planning Tables, establishment of maintenance procedures and maintenance teams, reviewed and monitored the maintenance results, analysis, failures and proposed continuous improvements in close coordination with the Employer’s (RTA) and Operator’s (Serco) Maintenance Teams

Inspections with Operators for stations to identify and resolve issues to ensure systems functionality.

Oversee repair activities and allocate the required workload and staff for repair.

Ensure that repair activities are within the budget for maintenance.

Has in-depth knowledge of the MEP systems for Dubai Metro from design to installation to maintenance and performance management until the end of defects liability period and final handover of the MEP systems to the Client and Operator. Preparing all Technical Submittals of Electrical Systems.

Preparing all Comparison Sheets of the material of all electrical systems.

Review all shop drawings for electrical systems before issuing to Consultant.
