March *, **** I woke up a homeless, formerly incarcerated high school drop-out dying of addiction. On this day I decided to seek help. On March 10, 2013 I checked into Solidarity Fellowship. In August 2013 I decided to go back to school, I could’nt work because of my spine injury so I decided to go back to school. Within 7 1/2 years I graduated from Merrit College with An AA Degree with Honors in Substance Abuse and was Accepted to UC Berkeley on a full academic scholarsip. May of 2021 I graduated from UC Berkeley with a 3.22 gpa and an BA Degree in Ethnic Studies. On August 31, 2021 I Took and Passed the CATC II state of California test and am now a licensed Addiction Treatment Counselor.
