IT Quality Analyst

As a GDIT contractor I have been on several Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) projects. The majority of my time was spent working on the Eligibility Appeals Case Management Systems (EACMS) project and the Data Extract System (DESY) project.

My primary focus on both projects was the software testing of both web-based applications with a primary focus on Section 508 and WAG accessibility acceptance testing. The primary testing tool used was Freedom Scientific’s JAWS software. In addition to accessibility web-based testing a variety of documentation testing for accessibility testing was also performed.

As part of the testing process, I would create formal CMS 508 Test Plans and User Manuals along with performing test case writing and execution. I would also act in several different job roles such as Scrum Master and Business Analyst where I would run daily scrums and write User Stories and perform estimates on Development work and Testing tasks.

Senior QA Test Analyst / Test Lead

My job involved full hands-on testing in addition to leading a QA test team for a major financial lending institution. From the onset of any project, I actively worked with stakeholders in defining the project's objectives, requirements, design, and risk analysis. I estimated the required testing resources to include test case writing, manual testing, and any automation testing. Prior to testing I would verify the test environment and any pre-test data loaded.

I created formal deliverables such as Test Plans and Exit Reports requiring sign- off from stakeholders prior to test execution and prior to the release to Production.

In addition to writing and executing test scripts I would also review other tester's scripts for accuracy and completion along with the execution results and submitted defects.

I ran daily Agile Scrum team meeting along with daily defect meetings to review the status of the project. I tracked the progress of the test execution to confirm the testing was on target to meet the test schedule timeframes.

On average I was leading six testers per project and was leading two different projects at one time. Our testing resources were both on site and offshore.

HP ALM/Quality Center was the Quality Assurance product used and HP UFT/QTP using VB Script was the testing tool. Java and Asp.Net web Applications were used with both Oracle and

tracked the progress of the test execution to ensure the testing was on target to meet the test schedule timeframes.

I also performed integration testing between Test Center exam application software and a variety of Section 508 COT software such as Jaws, Dragon, and ZoomText.

On average I was leading five testers per project and the members were both on site and offshore. HP Quality Center was the Quality Assurance product used and HP QTP was the testing tool. In addition, Microsoft Team Foundation and Microsoft Project Manager were also used for Quality Assurance. Java and Asp.Net web Applications were used with both Oracle with PL/SQL and Sql Server as the databases.

I provided systems engineering/technical assistance support to a large counterintelligence organization. I performed IV&V information technology solutions to internal standards. I generated test plans, procedures, and reports for testing. I evaluated and reviewed COTS applications for security risks. Conducted tests and coordinated with developers in identifying and document problems. Performed security related testing. I assessed adequacy of regression, stress, and functional tests. I performed a variety of tasks associated with the design, development, and requirement analysis of a Software Web Service application for a U.S. Army Intelligence contract. The Web Service application was developed using C#. I was also tasked with the migration and design of a MS Sql Server 2000 database.

I was also an active participant in the Requirement’s Analysis of a Security and Configuration Management system. I had hands on experience configuring the Directory Security settings within Microsoft’s Internet Information Services (IIS). I was involved in the requesting and installing of PKI certificates used in the decryption of data responses. I was involved in the review and analysis of DISA Gold scan results.

The application was developed using MS Sql Server, Visual Studio.Net, and ASP.NET.

I performed a variety of tasks associated with the design, development, and requirement analysis of a web-based software application for a U.S. Marine Corp. Intelligence contract. The web-based application was developed using VB.Net. I was also tasked with the design and development of the database. The design of the database involved the assigning of user roles and permissions. I also had hands on experience configuring the Directory Security settings within Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).

The application was development using Oracle, Visual Studio.Net, and ASP.NET.

My job involved full hands-on testing for a Department of Defense agency contract.

Along with testing I also created user support training documentation along with a user support intranet web site.

I was also actively involved in the Configuration Management of the Application along with the Security and User settings within the ColdFusion Application Server. The application runs on UNIX, Windows 2000, and ColdFusion Application Server, and utilizes Oracle as its database.
