Job Title-Pipefitter-A

Dates of Employment-01/2020 to 03/2022

Duties- layed out structural beams using isometric drawings and prepped bea=

ms using a grinder to grind off galvanized paint. Then get set up to use a =

Nelson Stud welding gun and weld studs to the beams so as to attach rebar f=

or concrete on elevated decks. When I wasnt doing that I was Hydro=

Static and pneumatic testing pipe systems of various different alloys and =

also plastic pipe. I also demo old piping using a metabo and rep=

lace or reroute with new piping which consisted of checking dimensions usin=

g isometric drawings and knowledge of your take-offs of pipe fittings. Some=

times I was able to set up work on the ground using pipe jacks and a crane =

and sometimes I would have to do elevated work using rigging equipment such=

as chainfalls and comealongs.

Sometimes I would have to remove old valves and piping systems with bolt up=

flanges. Using combo wrenches and impacts and sometimes a J-Gun

Then replace with new valves and use the bolt up pattern then torque bolts =

to specifications.

Now in the two years working steady with this company i worked in these plants

Exxon Baytown (I worked out there 3 times)

My pay was different on each job

The lowest was $29 hourly and $60 a day perdium

The highest was $37 hourly and $80 a day perdium.

I would have no more than one week off between jobs.

On each job I was classified as a Pipefitter-A and I had a different superv=

isor on every job.

Job Title-Pipe Foreman

Dates of Employment-09/2018 to 01/2020

Duties My duties were to attend supervisor meetings and schedule use of the=

Crane for erecting pipe and cordinate with scaffolding department. Then wr=

ite out the daily JSA with my crew of 10 and discuss the job scope and the =

hazards associated with the job. Then distribute job task to the crew who I=

always paired up. Walk the workers over the job task and ensured they unde=

rstood the job. Then I would coordinate with the welding foreman and have a=

welder work with me and my crew. Then I would start filling out rod slips,=

permits, and daily progress sheets for my supervisor. Then go to each of my

paired workers and check to see if they were doing the job task safely and=

correctly and to make sure they stayed hydrated and had everything they ne=

eded.

This job was a new construction site so I was put in a area and moved to an=

other area when I completed my job task.

This job was a night shift job.

My pay was $39 and $100 a day perdium

The company ended nigh shift and we all got laid off (ROF)

Job Title-started as a Pipefitter-A and got promoted to Foreman a month aft=

er I started.

Dates of Employment-09/2015 to 06/2018

DutiesAs a pipefitter my duties were to attend morning safety meetings and =

toolbox meetings and receive job task from the foreman then locate job area=

using North and East cordinance and inspect work areas and gather tools an=

d equipment needed for the job. Using various hand tools and equipment.

Foreman duties were to attend morning safety meetings and work scope meetin=

gs with the general Forman and the Superintendent. Receive my workload and =

write out the daily JSA with my crew of 10 and distribute job task and pair=

up the crew. Walk the workers to their work area and inspect area for haza=

rds and remove them if possible and ensure they understood the job task. Th=

en I would start filling out rod slips for my welders and fill out daily we=

ld reports (DWR) and my daily progress report. And go from area to area che=

cking up on my crew making sure that they had everything they needed for th=

e job and to ensure that they were following all safety guidelines.

My pay started at $32 hourly and $70 a day perdium then when promoted I rec=

eived $36 hourly and a $100 a day perdium

This was a new construction site and I worked the day shift and my hours we=

re 12 to 13 hours a day=20

My job scope was completed and I was laid off (ROF)

Company-Azota

Job Title-started as a Pipefitter-A and got promoted to warehouse,shipping =

and receiving, and lay down yard supervisor.

Dates of Employment-11/2012 to 06/2015

Duties pipefitter duties were that I assisted other crafts such as civil de=

partment. I helped build forms for concrete and also helped in Rebar variou=

s sizes.In January of 2013 I got promoted to supervisor and was in charge o=

f setting up tool rooms throughout the job site and assigning a crew member=

to attend them. I also was over the laborer department. I would instruct t=

hem to set trash cans and drinking water stations throughout the job site. =

And I had a crew set up and maintain the lay down yard using a grid system =

1 thru 26 North and South and A thru Z East and West. I was in charge of in=

specting deliveries of material and equipment and where to stage materials =

and equipment until needed out in the job site. I would have to interact wi=

th the drivers and sign their delivery tickets if I approved the condition =

of the delivery. I went to daily progress report meetings with upper manage=

ment and I was assigned a secretary to keep the daily receipts up to date a=

nd the location of the equipment and materials. I had a crew of 25. This wa=

s a new construction site.

So heavy equipment was rented and I would have to inspect equipment by visu=

al and operate equipment.

From Forklifts extended boom to warehouse forklift,( I operated both, front=

end loaders,I also operated,trackhoes I also operated, back hoes i also op=

erated, bobcats,track and wheels i operated both,water trucks also operated=

,small crane (draught) I was allowed to operate, big cranes from extended b=

oom to fixed boom I was not allowed to operate only certified operators wer=

e allowed to operate. I also was the first one there in the morning to open=

all gates and permitted openings and I was the last person to leave ensuri=

ng that all gates and entryways were locked and secure=20

I worked the day shift and my pay started out $27 hourly and $50 a day perd=

ium to $36 hourly and $100 a day perdium=20

Job was completed and all leftover materials were shipped to other jobsites=

or to the main warehouse.

Was honorably laid off

this job was at a helium plant and the job was a new unit installa=

tion and was located in Liberal Kansas

Job Title Journeyman Boilermaker

Dates of Employment-09/10/2010 to 04/12/2012

Duties- I was on maintenance division called major maintenance. We would go=

from unit to unit working on exchangers. We would install the fresh air bl=

inds than install other blinds at the isolation point. Then we would remove=

the dollar plate and and tub head so as to remove the bundle with a bundle=

puller then we would prep all gasket surfaces and in new ones. Then we wou=

ld go up on the fin fans and remove plugs that were marked so as to repair =

tubes if possible and if not remove them and replace them with new ones.

Also charge out filters on certain equipment throughout the units. Then som=

etimes we would assist a turnaround happening throughout the units.we would=

also do housekeeping. Then when the bundle came back we install it then re=

install the channel head,dollar plate and tube head and we would tighten bo=

lts using various hand tools and pneumatic impacts. Then we would torque bo=

lts using a star pattern to torque specs. Then we would hydrostatic test th=

e equipment for leaks. Then we would remove all blinds that we installed on=

equipment then do a thorough clean up and relocate to another unit.

This job was maintenance and it was 50 hours a week sometimes more and was =

located in ST.CROIX US VIRGIN ISLANDS=20

This plant was owned by Venezuala and the president decided to shut the pla=

nt down so we all got laid off.
