Offering technical support to farmers, local authorities, government departments and NGO's on forestry and
environmental issues.
Promotion of local environmental management plan (EMP) through empowerment of village grassroots natural
resources committees.
Assisting communities to initiate viable environmental based income generating projects like bee-keeping, tree nursery establishment and agroforestry practices.

Record information on plant growth, mortality, pests and diseases control.
Managing seedling pricing in a turbulent marketing environment.
Managing nursery staff and Forestry Commission's assets ( furniture and vehicles).
Report writing.
