General neurology care to those with demyelinating, autoimmune, seizure disorders as well as vascular disease. Chronic disease management involving Parkinson’s, Myasthenia Gravis, ALS, ataxia, tremor, neuropathies, migraines and follow up stroke, falls, sarcopenia, weakness and chronic pain. Collaborative management with neurologists. Review of diagnostics including MRI, MRA, and CT, CTA and other various scans and procedures such as EEG and EMGs. May 2003-May 2016: Saint Cloud Veteran’s Administration (SCVAMC). Primary care to Veterans with psychiatric health conditions with emphases of acute and chronic medical diseases in outpatient clinic in collaboration with psychiatrist focusing on behavioral health and medical care by NP (2002-2007). Provided advanced medical care with exacerbation of psychiatric illness and included emphasis in substance use disorders and illicit drug use, abuse and addiction. Provided care involving exacerbation of behavioral health conditions and was done in collaboration with psychiatrist. Care conferences for discharge planning and ongoing case management returning to community. (2007-2009). Transfer to Long Term Care (2010). Provided assessment and treatment to adults and elders in the Geriatric Evaluation & Management clinic. A specialized clinic in cognitive disorders and worked closely with the GRECC (Geriatric Management Clinic) of Minneapolis VA. Also, development of the Hospice and Palliative care clinic with a team involving social worker, care coordinate and RN.
