I am currently employed by the above student transportation company driving students to and from their residences to various schools utilizing small and medium size vans.
I have obtained my Class B CDL with P & S endorsements. I currently drive a school bus to transport students.
Mattel, Inc. Security Supervisor 03/2018 – 10/2021
Was employed as second shift Security Supervisor at the Mattel Distribution Center in Jonestown, Pa.
Responsible for second shift security operations in warehouse and exterior guard shack for inbound and outbound truck traffic.
Was responsible for 3 security officers as well as various investigations both inside the warehouse and the entire grounds of the DC operations center.
Handled various duties including, but not limited to; magnetometer and bag search duties of inbound/outbound employees, investigating lift crashes in warehouse, various domestic and other incidents involving warehouse employees, completing and filing various reports regarding same and use of e-mail, excel, word and other computer programs to complete daily shift requirements. Currently possess certified training in use of First Aid and AED training.
Additional responsibilities included making new employee badges and conducting interviews and evaluations of current security employees as well as prospective security employee candidates.
INA – Information Network Associates 04/2012 – 02/2017
Was employed for 5 years as a part-time private investigator handling all types of investigations from divorce to worker’s compensation litigation cases to surveillance and detection of subjects involved in active investigations.
Completed numerous video and tactical surveillance assignments of subjects as well as completing all necessary reports and correspondence for use in civil and criminal proceedings.
Pennsylvania State Police 04/13/87 - 02/03/12
n25 years as a Pennsylvania State Police Trooper. The last 8 years as a State Police Corporal. I was a frontline supervisor responsible for 6-8 Troopers per shift. (PSP Embreeville and PSP Harrisburg.) I retired as the Highway Criminal Interdiction Statewide Coordinator for the Operation SHIELD Program, which was run out of The Bureau of Patrol in Harrisburg, Pa.
nI served 9 years as a Canine Handler with a Narcotic Detection canine. I was assigned to The Bureau of Emergency and Special Operations in Hershey, Pa. I served on the K9 East and The K9 Central Teams.
nMy duties as a frontline Supervisor included, but not limited to: Managing the Troopers on my shift, writing the daily roster for zone coverage, conducting periodic evaluations of Platoon members and submitting all required documents and correspondence. Many of the Troopers that were in my Platoon at PSP Embreeville were probationary Troopers and required more in-depth evaluations. Part of my duties included being out on the road each shift to assist the Troopers in handling incidents and to periodically conduct Internal Affairs Investigations on Members as assigned by the Troop Commanders.
Pennsylvania State Police – Operation S.H.I.E.L.D
nWorked daily operational duties in criminal Highway Interdiction.
nOrganized and ensured statewide operations regarding “Operation S.H.I.E.L.D.” patrol activities including “Operation Maximum Effort.” Organized regional interdiction activities on various Interstates and The Pennsylvania Turnpike.
nWas responsible for setting up the “Operation S.H.I.E.L.D.” statewide training program. In 8 years, I was the primary instructor for the S.H.I.E.L.D. Program (Safe Highways Initiative for Effective Law Enforcement and Detection.) During this time, we instructed over 1,200 Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Officers in Advanced Criminal Highway Interdiction techniques.
nPreviously an Associate Instructor for Cal-Traps and Associates, a private entity based in New York. We have instructed approx. 300-500 Law Enforcement Officers throughout the United States and Panama in advanced highway interdiction and detection of hidden compartments in land vehicles.
Education
The Pennsylvania State University 1983-1986
Majored in Administration of Justice. In 1986 I was contacted by PSP and I subsequently left the University to join the 67th Cadet Class of The Pennsylvania State Police where I remained for the next 25 years.
