Customer and associates always come first. I’ve been with the company many years and in many roles. I stepped back to Deli/Bakery/ HMS manager as no one else would take the position, I was under the understanding it wouldn’t be long term. I doubled the sales made every inventory in the last year, restaffed the department, coached and trained correctly all associates. Grocery manager is my love I like to have the challenge of total store presentation. The backroom clean, neat and organized flows to the sales floor. Assistant manager I flourished in, as I was regional trainer and ran 2 stores in the absence of store manager. I unfortunately had health problems that took me away from the company for a while and returned in a hourly position and not salary. Meeting goals, labor and inventories every week, month, period and year.
LOWE’S HOME IMPROVEMENT 2005-2007
Zone manager for 2 sections of the store as we were understaffed. I came to Lowe’s for the management benefit pkg. I didn’t leave the company I left the manager as that old saying goes. Several people left this store and I’m sorry I couldn’t find the fix to problem. I felt it was in my best interest not to get involved and just move on.
Walmart 2000-2005
Assistant manager for my total tenure with the company. I was the first assistant manager to run all 3 fresh departments. I stepped out of my comfort zone and moved to the General Merchandise side of the store and had several departments, ICS team and Unloaders I overseen. I really enjoyed everything I learned from this company and felt I left a mark on several associates over the years.

Royal Crown Cola 1994-1995. Sales representative I opened over 20 new accounts and got in to all the public schools in Williamsburg/James City County.
DECA Military Commissary Ft Eustis, VA and Frankfurt, Germany. 1990-1994. I started as a overnight stocker in Frankfurt and made it to lead stocker. We transferred to Ft Eustis and I worked in the produce department moved to the grocery department and even set up the first bulk warehouse Department we had.

I feel this has made me organized and having the skills to adapt to changes and diversity with ease. I’m in search of honest and down to earth company. One that sees the person for what they accomplish and isn’t afraid to tell them good job. I’m a hard worker extremely dedicated and always give 100 percent. I strive to know what is expected, how to reach it and build the best team to always come out on top.
