Nature of Work:

Going through DCS operation, start-up/shutdown, plant parameters monitoring and checking alarms and abnormalities. Going through field operations, taking product samples for laboratory analysis and routine patrolling on the area.

Roles & Responsibilities:

•To work in accordance with company policies production plan product specification and management guidance.

•Operate and monitor different types of machinery and equipments such as Pumps Filter, Heat exchangers, Fractionation column Day tank and Storage tanks

•Operate DCS panel and monitor the operation

•Handover and takeover of plant status Routine check on plant.

•To report any deviation, abnormalities, unsafe act and condition in the plant, Assess the area or equipment before any permit approval.

•To prepare and be a Confined Safety Assessor.

•Assist Team Leader and DCS Panel man for smooth and safe start-up/ Shut-down.

•Take product samples in accordance to safety.

•As a Company safety committee member, conduct safety inspection/Meeting on every month.

•Operate polymer plant, carry out chemical reactions (exothermic & endothermic), taking care of process equipment such as Pump, Heat exchanger, Boiler, DI, & compressors, chiller unit.

•Assisting shift supervisor in all daily operational activities and allotting job to concerned operators.

•Trained in the start-up, shutdown and emergency regulations of the Lacquer Plant, Polymer Plant, and Water Plant & Pigment Plant.
