Duties Include
Responsible for all store clerical functions, security and proper administration of all monies, receipts, invoices and other financial media. Monitor and complete cash handling and security in the cash office and service center.
Creating weekly schedule for all frontend employees. Supervise cashiers, cash office, and service center staff. Oversee media exchanges with cashiers, to include issuing, collecting and verifying tills, collecting pick-ups, cashing checks and making change.
Complete all reports and paper work issued from the store office, such as cash balance report and inventory. Prepare bank deposits and maintains bad check files.
Answer, screen and route telephone calls.
Maintain security and minimize losses through awareness of pricing errors, coupons, checks, food stamps, bottom of cart items, etc., and advise customer service manager or designee as necessary. Address and conduct disciplinary action for front end as necessary.
Provide exceptionally friendly and courteous customer service. Answer customer questions, make recommendations and promote products through suggestive selling.
Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
