Experienced Professional Electrical Engineer with a career spanning over 18 years across the Distribution sector of Ceylon Electricity Board which is the organization that handles all generation, transmission and distribution of Power in Sri Lanka. • Maintaining the operation efficiently while ensuring sufficient plant is available.

• Carry out all maintenance works in the plants, building and equipement in regular basis.

• Maintain records of the generation and inform to system control daily.

• Inform the stoppage and outages to management to prepare load shedding.

• Preparing Generation plan for Thambapavani Wind Power Station

• Ensure the safety and welfare of all staff connected to Plant Past Experience

• Maintaining of a reliable and quality electricity supply of 2 districts of Sri Lanka.

• Provide an efficient and satisfactory service to the consumers of those 2 districts.

• Maintain system assets in a safe and sound operating condition.

• Maximize the area profit by minimizing technical and non technical losses and by prompt revenue collections.

• Investigating schemes and extensions in adistrict to carry out feasibility studies

• Preparing estimates to construct 33kV, 11kV and 400V electricity distribution lines and SS

• Data reception of any switching actions of 10 ECSC of North Central Province

• Prepare reliability reports including MV and LV tripping and service break down

• Arranging of planned interruptions and make the paper advertisement

• Monitoring of planned and unplanned interruptions to have minimum effect to the consumers

• Maintaining of switching action register and ARC tripping data

• Manage maintenance gangs for routing rehabilitation works of the 9 distribution feeders and 7 back bone feeders from three Grid substations

• SYA works of reconductoring and erecting of substations

• Maintaining ARC as regular testing of battery conditioner and SF6 pressure

• Maintaining primary SS, LBS and DDLOs

• Installations and maintenance of boundary meters.

• Regular maintenance of transformers and do necessary repairs

• As the team member of Northern Development Project, establish and implement team to bring electrification level of North to 98.9% from 62%
